BREASTFEEDING CLASSES
I conduct one on one prenatal breastfeeding classes in my home a few weeks to a month before your baby is due to arrive. The class takes 1.5 hours and is geared towards the latch and what happens in the first few days of life. I spend a good bit of time talking about what to expect at the hospital. I will teach you how to manually express colostrum and why you would even want to do that. If you work on issues early on in your breastfeeding experience you should be more successful in the long run. Call or email to set up a prenatal class. The father of the baby is welcome if he wants to join us. Please bring your breast pump to the class if you have one at the time. I can do classes on Saturdays if that works better for your schedule.
